Hello from New Orleans!

It's late Monday night, and I was finally able to get on a computer. I'm at my parents house in New Orleans, having a wonderful weekend (that is turning into a week). My husband, being the amazing man that he is, gave me a kitchen pass and a one way flight into NoLA to recharge my batteries. Like he says, "It's good for the soul." My trip has been wonderful so far- McNeese homecoming weekend in Lake Charles, the Zeta Tau Alpha Delta Kappa Chapter 50th reunion, family dinner, a day in Chalmette with Abby, Halloween decorating and a trip to the pumpkin patch... the list goes on. I'm determined to get several blogs posted. I figure if Monica can get it done with two kids, I can too!

Before I got to bed though, I have to wish a very happy birthday to my favorite canine niece in the whole wide world. I love you, Lucy! Hope Sissy and Doody spoiled you and you had a great day!
